Considerations Before Registering
A silent meditation retreat can be a positive and life-transforming experience. At the same time, it can be strenuous and requires some stability of physical and psychological health. If you are experiencing significant physical or psychological difficulty, this may not be the best time for you to participate in a residential retreat. Daily life practice, non-residential day-long retreats, and therapy may be more beneficial. Our teachers may not be able to give you the kind of individual care you may need.
If you have questions about this feel free to contact us to talk more about what the retreat experience is like.
Tri-State Dharma is committed to doing its best to provide a safe and supportive container for retreat practice. By registering for a Tri-State Dharma meditation session or retreat your part is to:
- Acknowledge that you are responsible for your physical, mental and emotional well-being and that engaging in meditation may bring up physical, emotional or psychological issues.
- Acknowledge that Tri-State Dharma and its teachers have no legal liability for any injury, loss, or damage you suffer that results from physical, emotional or psychological problems arising from your participation.
